What happened at the end of Reacher Season 2 Episode 7?

Towards the end, Reacher surrendered himself to Langston to save his friends and pull off an assault from within.

The episode saw O’Donnell and Dixon getting caught by Langston while Reacher extracted information from Lieutenant Marsh and Grant the assassin. But when Langston asked him to surrender, he stated that Neagley died, and kept her as his backup.

Then as the episode reached its end, Reacher arrived at New Age’s R&D facility in Rockland County, where the exchange of missiles between Langston and the multi-named assassin with initials ‘A’ & ‘M’ is about to go down. Right before the exchange, Reacher steps in to surrender and the screen cuts to black with a smirk on his face.

Who dies in Reacher Season 2 Episode 7?

“The Man Goes Through” saw Reacher and his squad take down a drug operation and kill a couple of dirty soldiers along with the buyers. Then in the present day, Reacher eliminates Lieutenant Marsh and two other assassins.

Episode 7 saw the 110^th Special Investigators Unit bring Operation Kite Runner to an end by busting a drug trade and bringing the people involved to justice.

The episode opened with the confirmation that Detective Russo died towards the end of episode 6. To avenge him, Reacher interrogated Lieutenant Marsh, who sold Russo out to Langston. As Marsh made a move against Reacher, the latter put a bullet in his head and moved on to his next target, Grant.

The assassin getting intensive care at Mount Sinai Hospital got a visit from Reacher and Neagley. As they extracted intel about Langston’s exchange out of him, they took him down and avenged Russo. Following that, Reacher and Neagley killed another assassin who was sent to take care of Grant.

What’s next for Jack in Reacher Season 2 Episode 8, aka the Finale?

In the finale, Reacher is expected to get tortured for a while before Neagley comes through as his backup, enabling him to launch a tactical attack on Langston and ‘A.M.’.

Episode 8 will likely see Reacher execute his plan to escape captivity and save O’Donnell and Dixon. Then, he is expected to bring Langston to justice with the help of Neagley, Tony Swan, and Senator Lavoy’s two former Navy SEALs and one Ranger. Most importantly, we’d finally see Reacher go up against his greatest live-action antagonist to this date, A.M.!

Mark Wahlberg does not come back in the Ted series primarily because it is a prequel and because of his busy schedule.

When Seth MacFarlane was asked about the reason Wahlberg didn’t show up, he told TheWrap:

“The practical reason is Mark Wahlberg’s schedule. He’s got a million movies he’s working on at any given time, and so getting him to do a television series — his schedule just doesn’t permit that, let alone something that potentially goes for more than one season. It’s just tough. It doesn’t take too long to get to the idea of a prequel once you’re looking at that reality.”

While Peacock’s Ted was in development, Wahlberg was busy with projects such as The Family Plan and Arthur The King, among others. So, when MacFarlane wanted to return to the Ted franchise, he decided that the next project had to be a prequel because of Wahlberg’s busy schedule.

But we could still hope that besides a potential Ted season 2, a Ted 3 could also happen with Wahlberg returning as John Bennett.

So after going through the ending and seeing a semi-cliffhanger at the end of episode 7, many presumed that an episode 8 release date and time could have been planned. But that isn’t the case as the season is confirmed to have ended with just 7 episodes.

Will there be a Ted season 1 Part 2?

No, a Ted season 1 Part 2 isn’t scheduled to arrive as the season launched all its episodes simultaneously.

After Our Flag Means Death’s cancellation by MAX, subscribers have been left shocked and are wondering why the streamer isn’t moving forward with the third season. So, here’s all you need to know about why the satirical comedy series was not renewed for another season.

Why was Our Flag Means Death canceled?

Despite its quality, the production of Our Flag Means Death season 2 was met with budget cuts, which was a clue that MAX wasn’t happy with its viewership numbers. This could have been the reason for its cancellation.

Showrunner David Jenkins posted the following on Instagram announcing the show’s cancellation:

Meanwhile, a rep for MAX stated:

“While Max will not be moving forward with a third season of Our Flag Means Death, we are so proud of the joyous, hilarious, and heartfelt stories that creator David Jenkins, Taika Waititi, Rhys Darby, Garrett Basch, Dan Halsted, Adam Stein, Antoine Douaihy, and the entire superb cast and crew brought to life. We also thank the dedicated fans who embraced these stories and built a gorgeous, inclusive community surrounding the show.”

We didn’t get an official reason for the cancellation of the critically acclaimed series. But the series reportedly received a 40% budget cut after its first season, which indicated that despite its quality of storytelling, MAX wasn’t happy with the viewership numbers.

It’s likely that the viewership wouldn’t have improved in the second season, which prevented its third season’s renewal. After all, MAX also canceled another high-profile series, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty for a similar reason in 2023.

Will Our Flag Means Death season 3 ever happen?

The chances for Our Flag Means Death season 3 are very slim. Another network or streaming service can pick it up in the future. But since there might have been just one more season anyway, it’s likely that Season 3 will never happen.

If MAX hadn’t canceled Our Flag Means Death, then David Jenkins and co could have brought the series to a fitting conclusion with just one more season. While there is no specific character who was called the Queenpin on Earth-616, a variant Felicia Hardy/Black Cat became the Queenpin on Earth-TRN461 in Marvel’s Multiverse.

On this Earth, Green Goblin formed a criminal empire known as the Goblin Nation. But when Spider-Man took it down, Felicia Hardy saw an opportunity to take the lead. She ended the power vacuum by taking Goblin’s place and creating her own criminal army. That earned her the moniker of ‘Queenpin.’

But the MCU almost had its own Queenpin in Echo. After thinking that she killed Kingpin, Maya Lopez makes a move to take over his criminal empire. She wished to become the Queenpin. But with Kingpin being alive, her wish doesn’t come true, as she chooses not to move forward with her plan.   

Does Echo become Queenpin in the MCU?

No, Maya Lopez does not become the Queenpin in Echo. She chooses to stay back with her family and be the protector of Tamaha instead.

The first half of the Echo series saw Maya Lopez trying to rise in the ranks and take Kingpin’s place. But when Fisk returned, he asked her to return with him. He offered her his empire and the spot of ‘Queenpin.’ All she had to do was join him in his crusade. But she couldn’t support the man who killed her father and initially chose to leave town.

Kingpin saw this as a sign of betrayal and went after her family. So, looking at the Biskinik bird, Maya understood what her uncle was going to do. She went back to Tamaha and protected her family against Fisk and his forces.

Maya doesn’t become the Queenpin and won’t claim the position even if the current Kingpin were to die.

With the arrival of Echo in Phase 5, many fans wonder about its place in the ever-growing MCU timeline. Where and when is its story set? Here’s all you need to know about Echo’s place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When does Echo take place in the MCU timeline?

Since Echo takes place 5 months after Hawkeye, which was set in the 2024 holiday period, Echo’s place in the timeline is mid-2025.

The series does create a slight issue that’s similar to Spider-Man: Homecoming’s timeline mistake. But it’s not as extreme as that. A flashback shows that Maya Lopez and her father left Tamaha, Oklahoma, and moved to New York in 2007. Then it is revealed that 20 years had passed when Maya returned to her hometown. So, that should make Echo’s setting to be in 2027.

But that isn’t accurate because Hawkeye took place in 2024 and Echo takes place 5 months after that. So, we could just assume that the “20 years” reference used by the characters was just a figure of speech. Technically, Maya returned to her hometown after around 18 years.

Besides that, the story showed events of several years from the past. A few scenes between Maya and Kingpin took place in 2008 and 2021. The first Choctaw leader, Chafa emerged from the cave in ancient times. Maya’s second powerful ancestor, Lowak, was spotted in 1200 AD. The third ancestor, Tuklo, protected her people in the Late 1800s. Then, we witnessed the scene of Maya’s mother, Taloa’s birth possibly in the 1970s.

Where is Echo set?

Echo partially takes place in New York City, but its narrative primarily unravels in Tamaha, Oklahoma.

Anyone who has seen even half an episode of Echo will have noticed that its setting is in Tamaha, Oklahoma. Writings of the town’s name flash across the screen quite a few times. Apart from that, Maya is also seen spending a bit of time in New York City before moving back to Tamaha.

Disney hasn’t canceled The Mandalorian Season 4 yet. But it’s likely that the season has now been converted into The Mandalorian & Grogu movie.

After season 3, fans had assumed that The Mandalorian Season 4 would have been under development behind the scenes. After all, creator Jon Favreau was confirmed to be working on its story. But the reason an official announcement for Season 4 never came because future plans must have changed.

Across seasons 2 and 3, many fans didn’t fancy the filler episodes that were added to stretch the story to 8 episodes. Furthermore, Pedro Pascal has become extremely busy with him being set to star in Gladiator 2, The Last of Us Season 2, and maybe even Fantastic Four throughout 2024. So, changing the originally planned Season 4 to a Mandalorian movie solves several problems.

Since Pascal has mostly taken a voice-only role from The Mandalorian Season 3 onwards, the role wouldn’t necessarily require him to be on the set for months of its production.

Furthermore, the narrative won’t need fillers and could just continue with the most important parts. Lastly, The Mandalorian & Grogu movie also allows Dave Filoni more time to develop Ahsoka season 2. Then he could make the jump into his Mandoverse culmination movie.

Will The Mandalorian Season 4 ever happen?

Since Disney turned the potential Season 4 into The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, it’s likely that another season of The Mandalorian may not arrive anytime soon.

The upcoming projects of the Mandoverse include The Mandalorian & Grogu, Ahsoka Season 2, and Dave Filloni’s ensemble movie where Mando, Ahsoka, and other players such as Boba Fett are expected to reunite. So, another season of The Mandalorian will highly depend on how his story ends in Dave Filoni’s upcoming movie. If he survives there, then there would be a chance for another potential season.

But because of the aforementioned issues, it’s likelier for The Mandalorian & Grogu to get a sequel movie rather than a season 4. It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Mando and Grogu.

So, with Netflix launching just 6 episodes in Break Point season 2, people wondered why there was a change in episode count. While there is no official reason revealed by Netflix or the creatives behind the series, it’s possible that 6 episodes may be the new standard set for this particular docuseries. More stories could come with 6 more episodes in Season 3. But nothing is confirmed at the moment.

The US-based strikes of 2023 may not have affected Break Point season 2’s development in a significant way as Box to Box Films is a London-based production company. But since Netflix announced the second season in March 2023, time could have been an issue to meet a possibly prescheduled release window. Hence, the creatives could have gone for a shorter season.  

Will there be a Break Point Season 2 Part 2?

Even though Break Point Season 1 was released in two parts, Netflix won’t be following the same pattern for Season 2. There is no Break Point Season 2 Part 2.

Does Wilson Fisk have powers in Echo?

While the MCU’s Kingpin doesn’t display any major superhuman abilities in Echo, he does appear unnaturally stronger than regular humans.

Echo brought Kingpin back from the dead but didn’t clarify how he was able to survive a gunshot wound to the eye. This made many fans wonder whether he has powers in Echo. He didn’t get to showcase extreme physicality throughout Echo as he got a more dramatic arc this time around.

We saw him throw a few punches in Echo’s 2008 flashback sequence. But there, he showed similar strength levels that he did in the Daredevil series. However, his appearance in Hawkeye threw his power levels off the charts.

Before returning to Echo, he was seen ripping a car door apart with one hand in the Hawkeye finale. He stood back up after Eleanor rammed a car into him. He tossed Kate Bishop like a rag doll and walked off electrocutions and lethal explosive arrows like they were nothing.

Most importantly, he healed after being shot in the face by Maya! So, it is possible that using his resources, Kingpin could have juiced up on a variant of the super soldier serum, or some other body-enhancing drug that’s yet to be revealed. Daredevil: Born Again might shine a light on his physiology and reveal if he artificially enhanced his strength, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.

What are Kingpin’s abilities in Echo?

Kingpin possesses peak physical strength and endurance for a human. Apart from that, he is incredibly cunning and can manipulate a person or situation to benefit him.

Wilson Fisk is incredibly strong for a human. He also possesses a high level of endurance. But as mentioned above, his strength could come from a power-enhancing drug. Apart from that, he also uses his cunning intellect and vast resources to his advantage.

What happened at the end of Echo Season 1?

At the end of Echo, Maya Lopez channeled the powers of all her Choctaw ancestors and echoed them through Chula and Bonnie to stop Kingpin and save her townsfolk.

After feeling betrayed by Maya, Kingpin decides to take her family and her entire town hostage to make her feel the same anger. But Maya gets a warning from Biskinik and realizes that her people need her. So in a moment of need, she returns and her mother helps her realize her true powers.

She comes from an ancestral line of special women who protected their people across generations. Being the descendants of the first Choctaw leader, Chafa, they were born with unique abilities. These powers also connected their spirits with their future generations and came to their aid over time.

This is something that also happened with Maya, as the powers of her ancestors echoed through her at a time when she most needed them. She got the ferocity and super strength of Chafa, a great sense of strategy from Lowak, cunningness and sharpshooting abilities from Tuklo, and the ability to heal and echo her powers onto others from her mother, Taloa.

Using these abilities, she empowers her cousin Bonnie and grandmother Chula. Together they take down Wilson Fisk’s men while Henry and Biscuits protect the rest of the Tamaha people. The series ends with Fisk retreating and Maya finally embracing her family by enjoying a meal with them.

What happened to Kingpin and why did he retreat?

Using her healing abilities, Maya took Wilson Fisk back to the most painful moment of his life, so he could let go of his pain and begin his healing process. This startled Fisk and caused him to retreat.

Since Maya’s powers were meant to spread love, she used them to help Fisk. Bringing him behind the same wall where he murdered his abusive father, she made him let go of his pain and anger. This spiritual trip to the worst moment of his life completely shook Fisk and made him retreat.

He left Maya and her town alone and is now set to return in Daredevil: Born Again, where he’d possibly begin his Mayoral candidacy. But what about Maya?

Will Maya Lopez return?

While Maya’s future isn’t set in stone, she is expected to make a cameo in Daredevil: Born Again. She could also continue her story in Echo season 2. But the chances of that happening are slim.

Maya was left in a happy place towards the end of Echo. It’s possible that she’d continue to live on with her family as the protector of Tamaha. But it’s also likely for her to meet with Daredevil once again in Born Again and continue her vigilante life. He also explains that if the trio plays their cards right, then Hermes will directly send them to Hades’ lair to complete their quest.

Meanwhile, Ole Munch casts his revenge upon Gator and gouges his eyes out as a penance for what he did to the elderly woman, Irma. Munch then delivers a helpless Gator to his father and goes on to help Dot get one step closer to her freedom.

After all, Din Djarin reclaimed his Mandalorian title in Season 3. So, it wouldn’t make sense for him to return to being helmetless throughout his upcoming movie.

Since Pascal is also high in demand, Disney won’t likely replace him as the title character. That could lead to backlash from the fans. So, a safe bet would be to presume that Pascal will return, but in a less physical way.

If a shot without his helmet is needed, Pascal could show up on the set for a day or two to film it. For the rest of the film, his involvement could be limited. However, this has neither been confirmed nor denied by Disney at this time.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is confirmed to be shot later in 2024. Pascal will likely be involved in multiple other upcoming projects including Gladiator 2, The Last of Us Season 2, and maybe even Fantastic Four throughout 2024 — so Pascal will be mightily busy this year.

No, Amazon Prime Video hasn’t cast Kratos yet as the God of War series is reportedly being written at the moment.

Discussing Film’s X handle recently posted that writing is underway on the upcoming God of War series that was officially ordered in late 2022. To this, familiar industry insider Daniel RPK’s reply implied that the show is still in its early stages of development and may not arrive before 2027.

So, Prime Video may not even be close to casting its leading man, Kratos, or Atreus for that matter. But until he is officially cast, fan speculation continues to grow.

Actors who could play Kratos in the God of War TV show

While Christopher Judge could go on to reprise his role from the games, Amazon Prime Video could also look at familiar TV and movie stars such as Jason Momoa to play the character.

Dwayne Johnson is another wrestler turned actor who could play a perfect Kratos. But whether he’d wish to lead a potential multi-season TV series would be up for debate. Fans wish to see Christopher Judge reprise his Kratos role from the games, but Amazon Prime Video might want a more well-known movie actor to market the series.

Accordingly, the likes of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Alexander Skarsgård, and Jason Momoa could fit very well into the role. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has played an iconic DC villain in movies and will soon become the MCU’s Wonder Man. After that, he could potentially be cast as Kratos. Alexander Skarsgård also proved that he is equally capable of portraying Kratos with his performance in The Northman.

But the biggest name to take on the role could be Jason Momoa. He has the right look and experience to play Kratos after projects such as See, Game of Thrones, and Aquaman. It’ll be interesting to see if he becomes the face of God of War after leaving his DC role behind.
