On the Roam’s trailer reveals the upcoming docuseries that’s headlined by Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa.
The documentary series debuts with two episodes on Thursday, January 18 on Max. From there, the eight-episode travelogue will premiere two new episodes weekly leading up to the season finale on February 8.

What to know about On the Roam
On the Roam is an “eight-part cinematic docuseries following Jason Momoa as he travels the country chasing art, adventure, and friendship through the lens of craftsmanship,” per the official logline.
In the trailer, Momoa visits craftsmen as they work on old bikes, choppers, and instruments. At one point, one of the subjects of the docuseries says that he’s working on something akin to Thor’s hammer. Momoa also discusses why the project feels so personal to him.
The Max Original docuseries is created by Momoa, co-directed and executive produced by Momoa and Brian Mendoza, executive produced by Kyle Wheeler, produced by Jason Mendoza, and co-executive produced by Paris Herbert-Taylor.
Momoa will next star in the drama film In The Hand of Dante and the Apple TV+ miniseries Chief of War.
